Painting of structures
Painting of steel structures Silesia and Lesser Poland
Do you want to renovate the steel structure of your company’s industrial and production hall? Then you are in the right place! At RS-MAL we have the right equipment, tools and specialists who are able to take care of comprehensive fireproof painting of steel structures. We operate in Silesia and Malopolska working primarily with business customers.
We know very well that steel used in outdoor structures is highly exposed to damage caused by the impact of UV rays, pressure surges, as well as varying temperatures.
Lack of adequate protection can result in a significant deterioration in the level of safety when using the steel structure. Upon request, we will clean the steel elements of dirt and corrosion, prepare the object for protection and paint the whole thing with anti-corrosive paint designed for steel.
Safe cleaning and painting of steel structures - services for industry
At RS-MAL we paint industrial halls, bridges, communication bridges, heating flyovers. We are able to paint and protect from damage almost any steel structure … as well as concrete. We use specially selected and certified paints that guarantee:
- protection of steel from corrosion;
- excellent aesthetics of steel elements;
- many years of durability;
- no risk of paint peeling even in harsh weather conditions.
Take advantage of our services if you see corrosion, unsightly pitting or old paint coating starting to flake off spontaneously on steel structure elements. This is a sign that steel structural elements need to be cleaned, painted and protected from further deterioration as soon as possible.
We carry out painting work on halls and steel structures using high-altitude techniques. We have the appropriate authorizations and equipment that allows us to perform such services quickly and accurately.
Painting and blasting of steel structures - we act comprehensively!
Our experts focus on the quality of the implemented activities. Before painting steel elements with anti-corrosive paint, we perform full treatment (sandblasting) of the damaged material, such as by:
- high-pressure washing;
- manual removal of old paint coatings, such as with power tools.
We always match the technology to the characteristic features of the steel structure. We will make sure that your company recovers the perfect hall on the steel structure without the risk of losing aesthetics.
We perform fireproof coatings and corrosion protection – all to improve the safety and durability of steel structures in industry.
How do we paint steel structures for customers?
Before you decide to work with our company, it is essential to know the procedure for painting steel structures. With us, it’s just a few simple steps.
- We start with a site visit to the site. We evaluate the scope of possible work and determine the technology that will be best for the case.
- We then check the accessibility of the steel structural components. We also assess the technical condition of the various materials. This allows us to accurately select protective paints.
- We further present our offer and proposal to carry out the work, along with a preliminary quote.
When you accept the conditions and we discuss the details of the execution of the order… we can sign a contract, arrange a specific date and perform the service of painting a steel structure – in Silesia or Malopolska.
Corrosion protection of steel structures C1-C5
For painting large areas and parts, the spray-painting technique works best. This is a fast method of coating, in which paint particles are dispersed by a high-pressure air stream in the form of droplets through a nozzle and small holes placed in it. We use a hydrodynamic unit for this purpose. Spray painting is a very efficient method, thanks to which a large area of the substrate can be painted in a short time.
Corrosion protection of steel structures C1-C5
Steel structures require protection from corrosion. The main role in the deterioration of steel structures of buildings is played by the environment and its aggressiveness. The course of corrosion is also strongly influenced by mechanical and thermal influences on a steel component. To prevent this, it is necessary to use appropriate anti-corrosion systems.
We distinguish between several corrosion factors. Determination of the corrosivity class is very important, as it determines, among other things, the selection of the appropriate thickness of coatings of which the anti-corrosion system will consist.
We distinguish 5 classes of corrosivity:
- C1 (very small)
- C2 (small)
- C3 (medium)
- C4 (large)
- C5 (very large/industrial)
The standard also specifies the range of durability of the painting system, that is, the life of the system until the first comprehensive renovation work.
The following system life ranges have been established:
- Short (L) – up to 7 years
- Medium (M) – 7 – 15 years
- Long (H) – 15 – 25 years
- Very long (VH) – over 25 years
